On 18 July 2013, Waratah Group sponsored another highly successful fundraising dinner for the Shadow Foreign Minister of Australia, the Hon. Julie Bishop MP. We were highly privileged to be able to invite Ms. Julie Bishop herself, and the Hon. Richard Alston (former Liberal Senator and Minister for Communications, and former Australian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom). In her speech, Ms. Bishop commended the role that Waratah Group has played in promoting trade between Australia and China, and she personally thanked Mr. Kenny Zhang (Chairman of Waratah Group) for his immense contributions to building cultural ties between the two nations over the years.
