Group chairman visited the Kindom of Saudi Arabia

From 23rd to 27th May, 2008, Waratah Group Chairman Mr. Kenny Zhang was on Australian Ambassador to the Kindom of Saudi Arabia Mr. Kevin Magee’s invitation to visit Saudi Arabia for a four-day business trip. Accompanied by Ambassador Mr. Kevin Magee, Mr. Kenny Zhang paid a courtesy call on Prince Faisal Bin Fahd Bin Saud Al Saud from the royal family. In the name of an Australian Chinese businessman, Mr. Kenny Zhang extended his sincerest thanks and utmost respect to Saudi Arabian royal family for their great donation and support to Chinese people regarding the China Sichuan Wenchuan Earthquake.
During the business trip in Riyadh, Mr. Kenny Zhang also made a courtesy call on Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mr. Yang Honglin and met with many elite Saudi Arabian business people. The Saudi Arabian business people are keen on Chinese market. Mr Kenny Zhang introduced the investment environment in China and the achievement that Waratah has gained in the China investment. It had greatly added more to their interest of investing in China and laid the first stone of future cooperations between the two sides. This business trip had achieved more than what has been expected and opened the door for Waratah to get into Middle East.
