In May 2018, the first large-scale offshore mineral processing ship constructed by Jiangsu Zhenjiang shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd. was completed. The ship is one of the complete sets of marine mining integrated technical solutions. It serves the offshore mining operation in Fiji sea area. It can carry out continuous ore dressing operation, the quantity of pulp is 4300m2/h, and the amount of dry mine can reach 1800t/h. Designed by the Jiangsu Institute of ship design, the French Classification Society (BV) represents the advanced level of today's engineering ships. Along with the ship factory and work boats, push tugs, dredgers, the project complies with the "The Belt and Road" initiative, become China and Fiji strengthen dialogue, exchanges and cooperation in various fields, an important witness to establish joint development of strategic partnership.
